Dr. Assia Abibsi
I’m a podiatrist with almost 15 years of experience helping people of all ages. My training in Canada and the USA gave me a broad foundation in foot and ankle care. I use a combination of detailed history-taking, clinical examination, and I read imaging when needed to make sure no detail is overlooked.
I strongly believe in teamwork and often collaborate with GPs, radiologists, surgeons, physiotherapists, and dermatologists. I’m also currently completing my endorsement to prescribe medications, which will allow me to support my patients even further.
I believe in a holistic, team-based approach: whether it’s skin and nail problems, bone and joint pain, or anything in between, I take the time to listen, explain clearly, and work with you and other health professionals if needed to find the best solution from simple, conservative treatments through to referrals to the right specialist if needed.
Above all, I am a strong advocate for my patients. To me, the most important thing is that you feel heard, understood, and informed about your condition. My goal is simple: to partner with you as a team so we can get you back on your feet without pain or discomfort.
I visit Kalgoorlie every 6 weeks, and I stay for a week. To see when my next visit is or to book an appointment, please click this link.
